The edge of the coastline defines Britain, but it is constantly changing as the waves come and go.
The coastline of each page represents the edge of Britain, but when it’s flipped, the coastline keeps moving, leaving no definitive line. The flickbook deconstructs, then reconstructs ‘the making of Britain’.
*The title ‘1:x’ comes from a ratio for scale used in maps.
